Welcome to my blog.
As soon as you become a mom, you immediately become aware of a secret society of the mommy club. You probably never even knew it existed. Put a baby in your arms and other mothers just flock to you, like moths to a flame. Complete strangers will come up to you and soon your discussing the best diapers, schools and babysitters. We are drawn together because we need reinforcements, encouragement, and advice. Most of the time we simply need someone to listen who is in the trenches with us.
The bible tells us that older woman should instruct the younger ones. We are called to share our story and experiences. Our story matters because it is ultimately God's story. In this blog I will reflect on my own child raising experiences, and the new adventures with my grandchildren. I hope to be a lamp to your path, an encouragement to your soul, and a friend who knows where you're at and the amazing places you are going.
